For Guests requiring B&B we provide either Continental or English Breakfast, at an additional charge.

English Breakfast is available from 07h00 till 10h00 Mondays to Saturdays, and from 08h00 till 10h00 on Sundays.

  • PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:

    1.
    All accommodation charges are payable prior to or on arrival and regrettably we will not be able to proceed with check-in until these charges have been settled.

    2. 5 Third Avenue Guesthouse, their representatives, employees or any individual acting on behalf of the owner shall not be responsible for:

    2.1. Any loss of or damage to the property or possessions of any guest, resident or visitor, whether such damage is caused by fire, theft or otherwise or through negligence or wrongful act of anyone employed by or acting on behalf of the owner.

    2.2. Any personal injuries of any nature sustained by a guest, resident or visitor, whether such injuries are sustained through the negligence or wrongful act of anyone employed by the owner, any other person or through the defective function of any equipment or appliance of the owner.

    3. Any person who signs the registration form and is or will be accompanied by, or is or will be visited by any other person, indemnifies the owner from any responsibility towards any other person as described in paragraph 2.1 and 2.2 above.
    4. Any person who signs the registration form is responsible to settle the additional cost of any visitor who stays overnight without prior notification as well as any damage to 5 Third Avenue Guesthouse's property.
    5. Deposit required:
    5.1. 100% deposit is required on confirmation / reservation for 1 night bookings.
    5.2. 50% deposit is required on confirmation / reservation for bookings of 2 nights or longer.
    6. Our Cancellation Policy is as follows:
    6.1. If cancelled 29 or more days before date of arrival - 50% of the deposit paid will be refunded
    6.2. If cancelled within 15 to 28 days before date of arrival - 25% of the deposit paid will be refunded
    6.3. If cancelled within 0 to 14 days before date of arrival - no refund of deposit paid
    6.4. No show or if cancelled on arrival or during the stay - the full accommodation charges due will be levied
    6.5. Above cancellation policy does not apply for the December / January holiday period. No refunds will be given for bookings over this period and the balance / full amount of accommodation charges due is payable on or before 15 November
    6.6. A 10% administration fee will be deducted from all refunds
    7. NO SMOKING is allowed in the rooms, bathrooms and passages in front of the rooms.
    Our designated smoking area is the braai area.
